A Visit to the Hanson
From a Kid's Perspective
In December 1972, Pat Fernicola, along with five Fernicola children and Norman Martin
(RD3, 1951-54) and his five children, along with their spouses, had the privilage of visiting the USS
Hanson in San Diego just a few months before her decomissioning. The photos below were taken at that time. The humor associated with these photos
is in no way intended to denigrate either people or vessel. We thank Pat for sharing these pics with us.
